Andrew Parker

Founder and CEO,
Papa

Andrew Parker has spent his career focusing on healthcare technology. In late 2017, Parker founded Papa, a company that offers “Family On-Demand!” by connecting older adults and families to Papa Pals for companionship and assistance through the Papa Platform. He started the company to support his own grandfather, whom he endearingly addressed as “Papa”. Parker recognized the need in his own family and set out to build a platform to improve the negative effects of social determinants of health; most notably loneliness and isolation among others. He has a passion for healthcare, technology and people. Papa has grown to 400 employees and has over 20,000 Pals on the platform available nationally through more than 60 health plans. Papa has raised over $90M dollars to scale the company and support older adults and families across the nation. In 2021, Parker was recognized as one of the Top 50 Healthcare Technology CEOs Of 2021.

Parker received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University. Additionally, he is an alumni of the prestigious Y Combinator incubator. Parker resides in Miami, Florida with his girlfriend, Romi, and their dog Chewie.
