Larsen has oversight responsibility for enterprise strategic relationships, key client partnerships and companywide business growth efforts. He is a leading national expert on healthcare market forces and industry transformation and has served as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEOs of health systems, payers, pharmaceutical companies, physician groups, and digital-forward startups – both domestic and international – for more than two decades. In addition, Larsen profiles the industry’s preeminent healthcare leaders in his published series, “Lessons from the C-Suite,” which is distributed to a readership of 250,000. These conversations explore the personal and professional journeys of healthcare’s most influential CEOs, and their forward-looking approaches to industry issues of national importance. To date, he has published more than 50 of these conversations, and the majority of his CEO participants are perennial members of Modern Healthcare’s “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.”

Larsen received his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 1995. In addition to his work with The Advisory Board, Larsen serves on the boards of directors of several organizations, including The Washington National Opera (where he serves as chairman of the board) and The Washington Ballet. Larsen also serves on the board of directors for Mytonomy, a patient experience cloud company; Contessa Health, a home recovery care organization that offers acute care, post-acute care, and surgical procedure services; and Somatus, a leading provider of value-based kidney care for health plans, health systems, and provider groups.
